For centuries, the connection between African Americans and agriculture was tainted by the institution of slavery and the exploitive labor systems that continued in the years following the abolition of slavery.
A Marijuana Business Daily survey found that only 19% of cannabis businesses are owned by people who identify as a person of color.
Alternatively, African Americans own less than 2% of legal cannabis dispensaries, yet
a whopping 90% of farm employees identify as Latin-X or indigenous. It's no secret that urban areas have difficulty getting access to fresh, organic fruits, vegetables, and toxin free, plant based meat alternatives.
Stoner Girl is here to bridge the inequality gaps that take place in the health, food, cannabis, and farming industry.
A place where peace and plants provide positive provisions for the future.
